presented by

Project: “Making A Pinecone Gourd Wreath”
Time/Date: Tues. Oct. 20, from 9:30am-11:30am
Location: Lakeview Museum Classroom
We will make a pinecone, gourd, and dried materials wreath. The wreath will be
sewn together with wire. Bring various kinds of pine cones, and dried materials,
and old panty hose if you have saved any. Materials that will be furnished are a
wire wreath, spanish moss, fabric for wrapping the wreath, and a large needle
and wire. I attended the Dried Roadside Flower Show at the Chicago Botanic
Garden last weekend and have some dried materials to share. Pick up a bag of
gourds at the workshop sign-up table at the Oct. garden club meeting, from
Mimi Allen workshop co-chairman. Directions on how to prepare the gourds for
your wreath will be included. The material fee is $10.
